MarcoPolo Learning was founded in 2013, with a strong mission to bring innovation to the early childhood education by leveraging the power of media and technology. It launched its first early learning app, MarcoPolo Ocean, in 2013 and subsequently launched 4 other apps from 2013 to 2016. Its flagship learning app, MarcoPolo World School, has won numerous prestigious rewards for its educational and media value, including an Emmy award nomination. During the pandemic, MarcoPolo Learning created its first school solution, MarcoPolo For Educators, paired with MarcoPolo For Families to support bringing best instructional practices into the classroom and strengthening school-to-home connection.

Our program design, digital learning experiences, family engagement activities, and embedded professional development opportunities are grounded in research-based theories and principles of child development and foundational skill growth, led by Dr. Nermeen Dashoush, our Chief Learning Officer. Painstakenly detailed, Dr. Dashoush and her team oversee every word and image of our video content and led the philosophy of our educational approach.
